British Triathlon Association

BTA Certificate Somer AC is an affiliated club of the British Triathlon Association (BTA) for the season of 2006/2007. Therefore, members are entitled to enter a triathlon as an affiliated member of "Somer A.C. Tri".

The British Triathlon Association is the national governing body for the sport of Triathlon in Great Britain. British Triathlon sanctions over 400 events every year, has over 300 affiliated clubs and over 7000 members.

  • Athlete Programmes
  • Training & Coaching
  • Teams & Competition
The BTA uses a regional structure of volunteers to administer the sport at a local level but its primary role is to support the elite (WCPP funded) athletes.

The BTA's official website should be regarded as the definitive source of information so far as rules, regulations, organisation, etc.
