Farmborough 10K

The winner of the 10K run was Brian Penny in a time of 35:38 and first lady was Fiona Cramp in a time of 44:00.

Boys: 1^st Jack Fillingham, 2^nd Dean Cox and 3^rd Daniel Stokes.
Girls: 1^st Amy Boalch, 2^nd Amy Reakes and 3^rd Harley Minall.

The 10K Road Race & Family Fun Run 2K will be held on Saturday, 22^nd July 2006 in memory of Brendan Jarvis.

• Road Race (ADULTS ONLY): £7
• Family Fun Run (Adults & Children): £3.50

The road race will start at 10:30am. The Family Fun Run will start at 10:35am from Farmborough Recreational Field, Tilley Lane, Farmborough. The routes will be clearly signposted. Please arrive by 10:00am latest.

Brendan died in a tragic accident on Haydon Hill, Radstock. He was 20 years old.

He was well known and well liked in the area. He was always full of fun and laughter, a great friend to many people of all ages and backgrounds. Brendan always had time for people and believed that you should enjoy life and live each day to the full.

He attended Farmborough Primary School before moving on to Norton Hill School. He wanted to pursue a career teaching primary school children and attended Bath Spa University to study for his degree.

All monies raised on 22^nd July will benefit local children.
