Another brilliant turnout for the second summer wobbler of the series on a slightly damp overcast evening approximately 35 – 40 runners
braved the dark and rather tricky course Adrian & Ger had set up. After a few photo’s by our resident photographer Joe Murphy, oh and the
usual brief, mind the cows and there muck, styles, branches and anything else you might bump into in the dark down the woods.
It was very well marked, well for most of us, except Ricky after a long absence from the club and a few others who couldn’t see
the red arrows or the red and white tape, never mind the flour on the ground, which was everywhere, they all managed to get lost.
Apart from those few getting lost I don’t think much else happened at this Wobbler and I don’t think any of those who got lost
and did a much shorter route than the rest of us won any prizes. Thanks to Ger and Adrian an excellent course,
(“how could anyone get lost”) a very nice pub, good food and drink, also thanks again to Andy – Lin for time-keeping and results, brilliant.
The prizes for this one went to: 1st Paul Newman 2nd Simon Chubb-Whittle 3rd Jean Meredith
