Miners Half, 10K & Fun Run Comes To End After 9 Years

Chris Fiddes, Tim Wood and Sheila Mitchard who have been organising this event for the past 9 year's - also said! it has just got to difficult and takes up to much of their own time, which is voluntary.

They would like to take this opportunity to thank the various organisations: Somer AC, Radstock Co-Operative Society, Wessex Water, Raynet Group, All Wales Ambulance Service, South Wansdye Sports Centre, Somerset Miners Welfare Trust, Ringway Infrastructure, Downside Motors, Performance Sports, Norton Sports & Camping, The Works Health & Fitness Centre and many other businesses who have supported us over the last 9 year's.

Also the runners and supporters who have come from far and wide to keep it going, plus a massive team of volunteers to marshal and help organise the HQ on the day.
