Somer Athletic Club is an England Athletics (EA) and Association of Running Clubs (ARC) affiliated running club based in Radstock near Bath comprising Seniors, Youth and Juniors sections.

 

Our senior group meet every Tuesday and Thursday as well as having regular social gatherings, whilst our Youth and Juniors sections meet on Thursdays during term time.

 

Our runners are regulars at local and national running events as well as Parkruns. As well as our own championship series, we compete on road, cross country and trail across distances from 5k to ultra marathons.

 

Our club is open to runners of all abilities from those beginning their running journey with groups of differing abilities to a strong core of fast runners.

 

As well as structured training sessions, we focus on self improvement, encouraging all of our athletes to become better runners and providing practical and emotional support to each other.
